Bio​

Italian bishop and theologian, currently serving as President of the Pontifical Academy for Life and Grand Chancellor of the Pontifical John Paul II University for Studies on Marriage and Family. Ordained a priest in 1970, he held various positions within the Church, including Bishop of Terni-Narni-Amelia from 2000 to 2012. Paglia is known for his commitment to interreligious dialogue, the defense of life, and the promotion of the family. He has also been appointed a member of several Vatican congregations and committees, contributing to important reflections on ethics and bioethics.
