Leading expert in health demography and aging, Professor of Gerontology at the University of Southern California (USC), and Director of the Health and Aging Research Program at the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. Her research focuses on studying inequalities in aging and the effects of socioeconomic conditions on health and longevity. Crimmins is also a member of the National Academy of Medicine and has collaborated with global institutions to analyze mortality and morbidity trends. With over 200 publications, she is a leading voice in the study of the social determinants of aging.
